CLOSEBOARD FENCING

A solid style of fencing which can be in panel form, all panels are 6ft (1.83m) wide and in various heights to suirt the purpose required. Closeboard fencing can also be in the traditional form, which is constructed on site, using featheredge boards and arris or cant rails. This type of fencing is recommended where privacy and strength are required.

All of these styles of fencing can be erected on either softwood pressure treated or PCC (Pre-cast concrete). The use of gravel boards in either wood or concrete can be useful as this provides protection to the panel from the soil, preventing rotting.
